Book Haul: Dec 2013

At the end of November I thought December would be the month when I get the smallest amount of books. But then I heard about Brandon Sanderson’s books and wanted every single one (and there are a lot!) and got auto approved on edelwise by a publisher (I’m not going to list all the ebooks I got this month^^).  And I also got more books for Christmas than I thought I would \o/

+ Timeless (Parasol Protectorate #5) by Gail Carriger

After reading the fourth book I ordered this one right away. I already started reading it but then I fell in love with epic fantasy and haven’t looked at it since then^^

+ The Final Empire (Mistborn #1) by Brandon Sanderson
+ The Well of Ascension (Mistborn #2) by Brandon Sanderson
+ The Hero of Ages (Mistborn #3) by Brandon Sanderson

Already read the first one and loved it. Can’t wait to read the second book. And aren’t they super pretty!? *_*

+ Fire (Graceling Realm #2) by Kristin Cashore

I had to get this after I read Graceling and I it was super cheap on amazon marketplace.

+ Soulless Volume 3 by Gail Carriger

The only book I preordered for this month. I just love how these books make me laugh out loud all the time.

  • I still haven’t continued the Parasol Protectorate series although I loved Soulless – there are just too many novels I want to read and wayyyy too little time. I also have the Mistborn trilogy unread on my shelf, but the other editions. Somehow I need these cheesy painted covers for my high fantasy novels xD . And since we’re talking high fantasy novels … *whispers* You have to get the Black Magician Trilogy asap! You know you want it!

    • Nope! I already bought way to many high fantasy books! I need to read those first and then MAYBE I will get those :P

  • Black Magician Trilogy? Jaaaaa, die willst du wirklich! ;)

  • I loved Fire even more than Graceling :D I hope you’ll enjoy it as well. And I envy you the Percy Jackson books. I follow a few artists on tumblr with amazing fanart o percy jackson and I want to read the books as well. I’m flirting with the collection box on amazong at the moment.

    Greetings,
    Suey

    • Those artists on tumblr are the reason why I picked up the first Percy Jackson books! (I didn’t even mind, that I saw spoilers, I just wanted to be part of that fandom and finally get what all these pictures are about)

  • Well, that is a lovely Book Haul to look at. I really get curious about the Brandon Sanderson books, but I’m also unsure if it’s really something for me. Same with Rick Riordan. Guess, I could borrow the first book before I decide if that’s my thing.

P.S.: GOD, that Panda is adorable. ^.^

  • Great haul! I love Gail Carriger’s books so much too. :) You should find time to read Timeless just so you know the crazy things that happen to the characters!
