2014 Year in Review

Book and blog related 2014 was an amazing year and I’m still so happy that I made the switch last year from German to English because since then I got to know awesome new people through my blog! I also met a lot of German bloggers (again) this year and every time was just glorious! I’m SO thankful for all the amazing friends I’ve made through my blog. Booknerds are the best! ❤

I also read a ton of awesome books (especially since I dived into epic fantasy and started way too many series but a lot of them are amazing so I don’t mind…), added new authors to my auto-buy list, managed to reread 14 books (I planned on reading 12, so YAY!) and  only a small number of books were disappointing. Flashback

It looks like I read a lot of books but for me 7 books, 2 short stories and 1 comic is too few for nearly 4 weeks of reading. The past few weeks I’ve always been really tired when I got home and I didn’t get enough sleep. Thanks to the BoutofBooks readathon I’m currently getting back into full flow though and I hope that I can still reach my goal for the TBR challenge.

After I was done with wirting exams and papers I had three weeks of free time ahead of me that I wanted to use to read ALL the books because I know the summer semester will be stressful. And as you may have noticed I didn’t even feel like blogging in those three weeks. Hopefully I’m back in the mood again because I’ve got a lot of catching up to do.

Flashback-March-2014a

+ Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass #1)
+ Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass #2) by Sarah J. Maas
I liked the first book a lot (my review) and then LOVED the second one. So much action, all this mysterious stuff happening and a kick-ass heroin!

+ Cress (Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer
The second book is still my favorite (WOLF <3) but Cress was awesome too. I really don’t want to wait another year for Winter!

+ Red Rising (Red Rising #1) by Pierce Brown
Really, REALLY good! Review is going to be up tomorrow!
