Book Fair Madness 2013

This year’s Frankfurt book fair was awesome. I had such an amazing time with my blogger friends. I already miss them all so much. There weren’t any author events I was really interested in but I had five great days, met wonderful people and had a lot of fun discovering new books.

When I went to the book fair this year I never expected to get so many books. I was surprised how many books I got by international publishers just because they wanted to get rid of them to not have to take them back with them. And some of them were selling books for really tempting prices.

Books I bought:

The Key (Magnificant 12 #3) by Michael Grant – Reboot by Amy Tintera
Pirate Cinema and Homeland (Little Brother #2) by Cory Doctorow
Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler – Cartwheel by Jennifer Dubois

A beautiful hardcover copy of Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness with an amazing dust jacket <3

Books I got by publishers:

Thirteen by Tom Hayle – Defriended by Ruth Baron
Killing Woods by Lucy Christopher – The Last Thirteen by James Phelan
Frog Music by Emma Donoghue – Wild Born by Brandon Mull
The Creature Department by Robert Paul Weston
NOS4As by Joe Hill – The Returned* by Jason Matt

Two amazing copies of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley (and Gris Grimly)
