Top-Ten-SciFi-1

+ The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
My all time favorite series! If you haven’t read this yet: what are you still doing here? Go read it!

+ Legend by Marie Lu
I liked that it didn’t come with a new idea, but was still able to make me all excited and fascinated about this society.

+ Across the Universe by Beth Revis
A story on a spaceship! What else do you need?

+ Insignia by S.J. Kincaid
This one does not only have an interesting concept but is also very funny.

+ Gone by Michael Grant
Another favorite series of mine. (the end was so emotional!) Loaded with violence, these are action-packed novels with great character development.

 Top-Ten-SciFi-2

+ The Maze Runner by James Dashner
(TRAILER COMING OUT IN A WEEK! *squeak*) One of my first and favorite series in this genre. I loved this idea and especially the second one was so thrilling that I read it in one sitting.

+ Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
Video games, virtual world, geeks, pop culture, …. Just an overall awesome novel! (can’t wait for Armada to come out!)

+ Cinder by Marissa Meyer
My favorite retellings with the most adorable characters!

+ BZRK by Michael Grant
Just as good as the Gone series, but more mind-blowing with its idea. Just read the last book and can now say that the series as a whole is awesome!

+ The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey
Alien invasion for the win! And tough, sarcastic characters that I loved.

  • Great TTT! I loved the Chaos Walking trilogy, Legend and The 5th Wave!
I really want to read Across the Universe, Gone, The Maze Runner and Ready Player One. I’m currently reading Cinder. :)

  • Vickie Ramage

THE TRAILER IS COMING OUT IN WEEK?
    OH MY GOSH.
    *panicked breathing*
    I need to lie down.

    But first!
Under The Mountain’s Top Ten Dystopias

  • Great list but… I haven’t read a single one of those :O

  • I should really go read most of the books mentioned as I have them on my shelves. I have a signed copy of Across the Universe for earths sake. I have attempted reading the Maze Runner, but I couldn’t get into it, so I have to try it out again somewhere in the near future. Also Cinder is a highly recommended read, so I’ll have to get into that as well :)

  • if you like sci-fi, i recommend the Area 51 series by Bob Mayer

  • Great list! This is my fav genre!
Missie @ A Flurry of Ponderings

  • I really need to finish Across The Universe, I’m so horrible at that. Also, need to read The Maze Runner before that comes out, I’m so excited about the movie, love the look of your blog as well, it’s gorgeous! Check ours out over @ Two Bookish Girls

  • was was? Teil zu the 5th wave?
