Pretty Books is a randomly occuring feature where I show you books that are especially pretty, both on the outside and the inside.
The Theory of Everything was one of my favorite contemporaries last year. A SHAMAN PANDA and the most adorable characters put into a wonderful story by Kari Luna. A story that’s filled with fun ‘How to…’ lists and awesome playlists.
“One part Libba Bray’s Going Bovine, two parts String Theory, and three parts love story equals a whimsical novel that will change the way you think about the world.”
I LOVE this cover! The cutest pandas ever! (I would give that one a long lasting hug instead of that kiss on the nose! :D) A girl in a a cute dress! The colors! The font! This cover perfectly represents the story.
The actual book is a pretty green color. Again the lovely font and a cute little tree. And you can’t overlook that bold black spine with the pink part on the top.
Left: I love the striped black and white background and that the summary comes as a list just like the ones Sophie Sophia always writes.
Right: See those little drawings under the title? They are all over the book and these cute little icons fit the story so well.
Some examples of those icons = cute chapter headings. And look how pretty these page numbers look like.

Oh Gott, das sieht ja tatsächlich zuckersüß aus! Allein für die Aufmachung hätte es das Buch schon verdient gekauft zu werden.

Okay these photos of the books are just too cute for words. I love the little details that publishers put. Nice finishing details! I’ve been trying to take photos of my books as well because I really dislike the 3D covers. This feature is so cute! Me love pandas <3
