(TTT is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish)
I had quite a hard time coming up with ten titles for today’s topic. I have a long list of books I wanted to get to in 2014 that I didn’t read, but only a few of them are 2014 releases. So not all of the titles are must-reads for me, ones I’m sad about that I didn’t get to read them yet but I still have them on my to-read list and will read them someday.
Let me try that again… Without murdering my computer, preferably.
A very nice list! I’ve only read The Mirror Empire from it, but it’s really good. One of the most incredibly inventive and interesting (and a little confusing) books I’ve read in a long time.
My dad tried to read The Waking Engine and bounced off of it–said it was just too weird to get in to. I’ve heard it described as “New Weird” a few times, so I don’t know when I’ll get around to it.
The Goblin Emperor and City of Stairs are both books I own and desperately need to read–Everyone I know who has read them wants them on the award ballots this coming year. The Goblin Emperor, particularly, sounds just so refreshingly good and fun!
Sorry to say that I haven’t really heard much about the other books on your list, though.
The only one I have read on that list is All the light we cannot see. But it is REALLY good, so beautifully written.
Dank deinen Top Ten Listen wächst meine Wunschliste immer gigantisch an >.< The Mirror Empire oder The Waking Engine klingen so gut und vielversprechend!
I so badly want to read a Mad, Wicked Folly! It looks so good! :)

You should definitely read Stolen Songbird! I love what the author did with trolls and the banter between the main characters is hilarious. A mad wicked folly & Body electric are both on my list too, the first one is going to be tackled soon. Happy reading :D
Über “The Waking Engine” bin ich auch mal irgendwann wegen des coolen Covers gestolpert, da haben mich die mäßigen GR-Bewertungen aber wieder abgeschreckt.
“City of Stairs” sollst du ja eh lesen (;P) und “All the lights we cannot see” lohnt sich auch wirklich!
“Get Even” erinnert mich daran dass ich eigentlich schon seit langem endlich mal “Ten” lesen wollte…^^

The Waking Engine and The Mirror Empire need to both get onto my bookshelf RIGHT. NOW.
