Pretty Books: Anna Dressed In Blood
Pretty Books is a randomly occuring feature where I show you books that are especially pretty, both on the outside and the inside.
Today’s pretty books post is part of Hallowread 2014: the Anna series by Kendare Blake! Anna Dressed In Blood and Girl of Nightmares don’t have as many fancy details as other books have, but they are still nice to look at.
Not sure why they changed the alignment of the title but I’m glad that they match otherwise. Also the grey/red combination is just perfect!

Did you know these books have blood/dark red font!? Awesome,right!?

I’m not a huge fan of the cover illustrations but I love the insides and the binding! The red font was really cool but it took some time to get used to. At first, I thought it would make it harder to concentrate on the words but it was fine! Just a little weird after when I read another book and was surprised it wasn’t also in red!

Ahhh Crini, jetzt erinnerst du mich daran, dass ich den zweiten Band noch ungelesen auf dem SuB habe. *pfeif* und das nicht erst seit gestern^^ Den konnte ich irgendwann mal glücklich ertauschen. Ich mochte den ersten Band auch, aber so richtig fehlt mir die Motivation zum weiterlesen. Wird noch!

Das mit der anderen Ausrichtung der Schrift auf dem Rücken würde mich ja schon wieder aufregen… :D
Die rote Schrift ist mir gar nicht aufgefallen, dabei hatte ich mir das extra noch bei dir im Regal angeguckt xD
Ich fürchte nur die haben das so eins zu eins auch beim eBook übernommen, auf dem Kindle ist der Text nämlich total blass und gar nicht richtig schwarz…^^
